Around the Limfjord
The largest wooden ship sailing in the Nordics
Every year in week 37 -
With visits to Løgstør, Thisted, Struer, Nykøbing Mors, Fur and Skive
Every year, up to 65 old commercial vessels gather to compete for places in what has become the largest wooden ship race in the Nordic region. From a humble beginning in 1988 with 6 participants, it has now developed into a wonderful festival in the 6 harbours visited each year on the tour.
Come to the harbour and watch the small and large wooden ships come to town after the day's racing on the fjord.
Whether you have sailing experience or, like the majority of us, are a landlubber, you'll find the spectacle impressive.
In all harbour towns there are special events and a festive atmosphere.
